Alma Theresia Larsson was born on April 26, 1879 in Kungsholmen Parish, Sweden to Jan Petter Larsson and Johanna "Persdotter" Larsson. She was the oldest of 10 children. In 1883 she immigrated to America with her mother and sister to meet her father in Marinete Co., Wisconsin. On the 25th of October, 1901 in Chicago she married Otto Edmund Peterson, also from Sweden. Sometime after 1911 they moved to Kingsburg with their 2 small children settling on a 20 acre piece of land on Clarkson Ave which they developed into a grape vineyard. There they raised 5 children. After Otto's death she sold the farm and moved to town and later married Erik Erickson, with whom she lived until her death. Surviving her were her husband Erik and five children: Bernice Turk, Otis Edmund Peterson, Randolph A. Peterson, Harvey P. Peterson, Roger E. Peterson; along with 12 grandchildren.
