Mrs. Stella Eleanor Scheufele, 68, of 1128 North Sixteenth died Monday night at 11:35 in St. Mary Hospital, where she had been a patient since May 25. Mrs. Scheufele was born in Quincy, Feb 18, 1899 a daughter of Frank J. and Mary Kieffmeyer Schulte. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the Ladies of St. Francis. On October 13, 1920, she was married to Carl Scheufele in St. Francis Church. Surviving are the husband; five sons, Robert Scheufele, Charles Scheufele, Arthur Scheufele and Lawrence Scheufele, all of Quincy, and Richard Scheufele of Milwaukee, Wi; two daughters, Mrs. Russell ( Mary Ellen ) Gordon and Mrs. Jack (Ruth) Schneider, both of Quincy; 17 grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Anna Ebbing of Quincy and Mary Lee Schulte and Miss Josephine Schulte, both of Chicago; two brothers, Alois Schulte, Sr. and Norbert Schulte, Sr., of Quincy. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cyril and Frank Schulte and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Zehnle and Mrs. Frances Kenning. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 in the Duker funeral home and at 10 in St. Francis Catholic church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery
