Mrs. Ione C. Aaron, 97, of Huntsville, formerly of Sumiton, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.P. "Bill" Aaron; daughter, Billie Zarantonello; and grandaughter, Hope Zarantonello.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Drummond and husband Buddy of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Michael Elmore of Jasper, Tommy Elmore of Hammond, Ind., and Michelle Dennis of Huntsville; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Phillips of Birmingham; Lane Hubbard of Tuscaloosa and Thelma Heard of Center Point; two brothers, Lucious Heard of Tuscaloosa and Clyde Heard of Center Point; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
