NELLIE MAE (SPENCE) FRENCH, age79, of Seymour, TN passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Island Home Health and Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident for the past 2 years.

She was a member of the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church and was a dedicated LPN, working in several hospitals and nursing homes for over 30 years.

Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence French; grandson, Mack French.

She is survived by her son, Burl (Pamela) French; grandchildren, Clarence Albert French, Jesse Burl French and Lacey Weld; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Franklin, Emily Whitson, and Dorothy Lewelling; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services, Thursday, 6:00pm at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, Seymour, TN with Rev. Tyson Galyon and Rev. Sam Hayes officiating. Interment graveside services, Friday, 2:00pm at Berry's Highland South Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4:00 to 6:00pm prior to services at the church.
