Nina Clark Ekers, 74, of Birmingham, Mich., formerly of Braewick Circle, Akron, died Oct. 20, in Michigan.

Nina was the widow of Harvey Ekers, former owner of Ekers Meats, who preceded her in death in 1971. She was a graduate of the Akron City Hospital School of Nursing.

She is survived by daughter, Mrs. Steven (Becky) Broughton, of Birmingham, Mich., brothers, Mark Clark, of Akron, Elmer Clark of Norton Center, Glen Clark, of West Carrollton, Ohio, John Clark, of Phoenix, Ariz.;sister, Mrs. Ruby Clark Ballenger, of Bremen, Ga.; two granddaughters, Amy and Wendy.

Funeral services Friday, 10 a.m., at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., Rev. Charles Billington officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m."
