Philip B. Alfano was born in Chicago, Illinois to Peter Alfano and Margaret Cosentino. After Joining the United States Marine Corps and proudly serving his country in the Korean War, Philip married Katherine Alice Thompson at Mission San Gabriel on August 10, 1952. Philip graduated from Occidental College in 1959 and worked as a sales representative for Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical from 1959 until his retirement in 1991. He was a resident of La Palma for more than 40 years. Philip was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Katherine; sons, Philip and Anthony and grandchildren, Mathew, Joseph. Meghan, Theresa and Victoria. Philip was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy.
