Ervin W. Dolasinski, 87, of Florida, formerly of Buffalo and North Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday. He retired as a millwright from New Process Gear and had previously worked for many years for General Electric. Mr. Dolasinski was a Life Member and Chief from 1975-1977 of the North Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Jackalyn Behnke, in 2005, who will be honored and remembered during the Life Celebration services. Surviving are his daughter, Christine (Darryl) Klos; two grandsons, James and Matthew; sister-in-law, Carol (Vince) Diebler and nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Chief Dolasinski's Life Celebration on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm with funeral services on Monday, May 9 at 10 am at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse and burial in North Syracuse Cemetery.
