FRANK J. RESCH
Frank J. Resch Jr., 74, of 1522 S. 24th Street, Manitowoc, died Monday, April 27, 1987 at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum.
Mr. Resch was born December 22, 1912 at Sheboygan, Wisconsin, son of the late Frank and Clara Garthefner Resch Sr. He married the former Marian Linzmeier on November 17, 1937 at St. Amand's Catholic church, Walhain, Wisconsin. Mr. Resch was employed as an electrician at Medusa Portland Cement Company in Manitowoc, retiring in 1977. Mr. Resch was a member of Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima.
Survivors include his wife, Marian; two sons, Francis and Kenneth, both of Manitowoc; four daughters and a son-in-law, Dorothy Resch, Shirley Resch and Madonna Resch, all of Manitowoc and Christine and Jules Cappelle of Monticollo, Wisconsin; two brothers, Joseph Resch of Manitowoc and Edmund Resch of Chicago; five sisters and a brother-in-law, Mrs. Helen Peot of Manitowoc, Terry and John Collins of Chicago, Mrs. Pat Rhenholtz of Chicago, Miss Anna Resch of Green Bay and Mrs. Agatha DeBauche of Green Bay; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Resch of Charlevioux, Michigan and 11 grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Frank; an infant daughter, Donna May and three brothers.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesday. Prayer services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm.
