Grand Junction-Homer Milton Strasser, 71, of Grand Junction died Thursday, Oct 5, 2006, at home, of natural causes. Memorial services will be held at 1 pm Friday, Oct 13, at Casco United Methodist Church, Grand Junction, with the Rev. Harold Filbrandt officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery, South Haven. Mr. Strasser was born Sep 19, 1935, in Coloma. He was a milk salesman, and later a convenience store manager. Mr. Strasser was a member of the Michigan National Guardand the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Balliet Strasser, whom he married on Feb 17, 1985, in Paris, Mich; sons,Rex Strasser of Paw Paw, Ricky Strasser of South Haven and Mike Strasser of Bangor; daughters, Brenda Strasser Sandy Karr, both of Bangor, Phyllis Welsh of South Haven, Sharol Peterson of Munsing, Mich, Kelly Ford of Bangor, Tammy Cochran of South Haven; stepsons, Jeff Krietner of Coloma, Charles Harper of Buchanan; 29 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sherman Strasser of St. Joseph and Wilbur Strasser of Paw Paw. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ophal Strasser; and a stepson Forrest Harper.
