Doyal "Dodd" Coon, 72, of Walton died Dec. 19, 1996, in Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
He was a retired oil and gas field employee.
Surviving: sons, Steven and Larry Lowe, both of Walton; daughters, Patty Lowe of Elkview, Karen Coon at home, Kathy Marks of Walton; sisters, Sadie Simms of Silverton, Opal Anderson of Ravenswood; six grandchildren.
Service will be 1 pm today at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Chad Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Billy Hunt Cemetery, Walton.
