KADOR SR., HUEY PETE Huey Pete Kador Sr. passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Huey was given the gift of life when he received a heart transplant in August 2004. He was 63, a resident of Erwinville and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Viewing at Zion Travelers Worship Center in Chamberlin on Friday, Nov. 24, from 5 p.m. until religious service from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., conducted by Donald Pollard, pastor. Dismissal at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment in Walls Cemetery, Walls. Huey is survived by his devoted wife, Gulle Kador; daughter, Patricia Bello and husband Gbenga; son, Huey Kador Jr.; granddaughter, La'Drekia Sims; sisters, Lenora Kador and Gloria Green; brother, Bishop Eugene Kador; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Kador; father, the Rev. Ernest Kador Sr.; brothers, Ernie K-Doe and Ernest Kador Jr.; and mother-in-law, Pearl Hunt. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the third floor CCCU unit of Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
