Alfred Teasdale Vick was the son of Alfred Waddell Vick and Edith Teasdale Vick. He was the father of Alfred Teasdale Vick II. He was a Lt. in the U.S. Army during WWII. Later he served as Superintendent of Schools in Chatham County, Ga., later moving to Richardson, Tx where he served in the same capacity. He is at rest in Bonaventure Cemetery with his wife Bess and parents.
