Cleasa Mae Doering Bundy, 92, of Wellsville, Ks. passed away May 2, 2016 at Wellsville Retirement Community. Funeral service at 11:00 am Friday May 2, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church, 650 E. Madison Ave. Gardner, Kansas. Burial 1:30 pm Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas following the service. Visitation 10:00 am before the service at the church. Cleasa was born May 25, 1923 in Evensville, TN. to William Samuel and Ada Lee (Worthington) Hall. She was a life-long KC resident. Cleasa was a nurse for 30 years for Shawnee Mission OBGYN office. She married William F. Doering Feb. 1946 and they were married for 44 years. In 1997 she married Fred O. Bundy and they were married for 15 years. Cleasa was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Gardner, Ks. She enjoyed spending time with her family. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories that she created for her family and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, William in 1990 and second husband, Fred in 2013, brothers, Hubert and James Hall. Cleasa is survived by children: Suzanne (William) Lindsey, Wellsville, Ks, Doug (Jeannie) Doering, Tonganoxie, Ks, Paul Doering, Phoenix, AZ, Janice (Scott) Steinmetz, Linn Creek, Mo; sister Jean (Gerry) Davey, Portsmouth, England; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
