Edna Caroline Brittain Kiser, 81, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center, following a period of declining health.
Edna was born on September 29, 1934 in Burke County, to the late Gete Brittain and Alice Anna Young. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and loved being a wife, mother, and most of all a grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Kiser and daughter Ramona Hedrick.
Survivors include her two sons, Mark Kiser of Granite Falls, and Ryan Kiser and wife Crystal of Hickory; seven grandchildren; Landon Kiser, Blake Kiser, Ashley Good, Brooke Cooper, Tyler Kiser, Whitney Justice, and Taylar Kiser; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Pastor Doyle Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
