Fred Crawford, Sr was a son of James Wallace Crawford (1866-1941) and Monia Ann White Crawford (1867-1946)
Both died in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Fred W. Crawford, Sr., 67, of 2221 Upper Hunters Trace Road, died Sunday at 8:45 a.m. at his home. He was a retired general foreman for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Patterson Crawford; two daughters, Mrs. George W. Hill and Miss Grace Elizabeth Crawford, Muncie, Ind.; two sons, Fred W. Crawford, Jr., and Capt. Gordon W. Crawford, Fort Jackson, S.C.,; two brothers, Ronald Crawford, Siloam Springs, Ark., and Robert E. Crawford; four sisters, Mrs. Elmer Hicks, Fort Pierce, Fla., Mrs. Joe Farmer, Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Carlos Colyer, and Miss Ethel Crawford, and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at W. G. Hardy Shively Chapel, 4101 Dixie Highway. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens.
