Stanley H. Swartwood, 76, of Tollgate Mobile Homes, died on Wednesday, July 21, 1982 at Auburn Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Swartwood was born in Genoa, on May 30, 1906, the son of Mervin and Sarah Northscott Swartwood. He had made his home in the Genoa area most of his life. He was a retired Polisher for National Cash Register of Ithaca.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hall Swartwood of Moravia; one son, Ernest Swartwood of Breezeport, N.Y.; one brother, Mervin Swartwood, Jr. of King Ferry; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Wilbur of Buffalo, Miss Lucille Swartwood and Mrs. Elsie Clark both of Sunnyvale, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 1982 at the Wade Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia. Burial will be in Genoa Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 1982 at the funeral home.
