Ardmore, Sept. 12 – Funeral services were held here Thursday at the First Methodist church for D.W. Butcher, pioneer Ardmore citizen, who died here Wednesday. Butcher was justice of the peace for 10 years and held the office of secretary of the Modern Woodmen of America for 25 years. He was a member of the Methodist church. Three daughters survive.
