Jane Alexander, 60, passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2013.Jane was born on May 14, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to the late Reverend George and Jewell Abdallah and lived here until the age of 12, when the family moved to the Chicago, Ill. area. Jane was a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a dual degree in voice and operatic performance. She was a talented lyric soprano. She retired from the U.S. Department of Defense as a Property Clearance Officer in 2010 and returned to the Akron area.Jane leaves her brother and sister-in-law, David and Judy Abdallah; nephew and niece, David and Kim Abdallah; great-nephews, Alex and Jason Abdallah; and niece, Amy Abdallah of Houston, Texas.Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. -
