Wedgeport - We have lost another of our old parishioners in the name of Philippe LeBlanc, deceased at his home on October 1st, at the age of 90. The deceased was the son of Mr and Mrs. Maximin LeBlanc from Wedgeport. He married Justine Bourque of Pointe-du-Sault who survives him and he leaves six sons, Captain Eloi J. LeBlanc, Reggie, Adolphe, Ludger and Baromée, all of Wedgeport and Zephrée of Connecticut who was with him at his death; three daughters, Mrs. Pierre Saulnier of Saulnierville, Mrs. Alma Sullivan of Cambridge, Mass., and Mrs. Nicholas Cenaty of Medford, Mass.

The funeral took place Sunday afternoon and Requiem Mass was sung Monday morning, Father M. Doucet officiating at the service and mass. Serving as porters: Emmanuel and Leo LeBlanc, Delisle Boudreau, Joseph, Camille, and Clarence LeBlanc, the last three are grandsons of the deceased.
