He was born June 7, 1922, to the late John and Katherine (Bell) Argyle in Dravosburg, Penn. He was a member of American Legion Post 11 after serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include sons, Don Argyle of Lancaster, Ohio and David (Cathy) Argyle of Bremen, Ohio; grandchildren, Trisha (Jerry) Morrison, Michell Argyle, Tammy Tranum, Kelly Anderson, Jay Argyle, Lee (Kellie) Argyle, Lisa Kuhn, Julie Argyle and Jamie Argyle; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, He also was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy in 2005.
Graveside services will be at Jefferson Memorial Park in McKeesport, Penn. at 1 p.m. Saturday.
