She was born November 24, 1938 in Fort Knox, Kentucky the daughter of Melvin and Gertrude (Combs) Stroud.
She was a long term resident of Springdale, Arkansas, and recently retired from Tyson Foods after 55 years of service. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Brenda Allen; and a brother, Roy Stroud.
She is survived by her sister, Melva Byrum (and husband, Elmer); a sister-in-law, Wanda Stroud; four nieces and five nephews, Lisa and David Thornton, Angela and Randy Parette, Cindy and Danny Love, David Stroud, Cathy Laswell and Paul Stroud; four great-nieces; seven great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces.
A graveside Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Kingston Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Chapel.
