Geraldine Lee Allcox, 84, passed away Sept. 20, 2010.
Mrs. Allcox was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie S. Allcox, and two grandsons, Andrew Zudal IV, and Charlie Pearce. She retired from NARF in 1988 and was a member of the Elizabeth Chapter No. 45 - Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Harich and husband John, Sherry Morris and husband Norman Jr., Elaine Pearce and husband Ronnie Sr.; a brother, Paul Lee and a sister, Catherine Sauls; six grandchildren, Shawn, Melissa, Heather, Harmony, Norman III, Ronnie Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, numerous nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
A celebration of Mrs. Allcox's life will be held Friday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. in Gateway Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to Gateway Freewill Baptist Church or the Kempsville Rescue Squad.
