She was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, a Tele-typist for the Government in Washington, DC, a volunteer at Blount Memorial Hospital and member of Martha Washington and Mountain View Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Merl Bailey; great grandson, Fred J. Coxe, V; parents, Dean and Georgia Stumm Swinehart; brother, Lester Swinehart.
Survivors include her children: son, Richard A. Bailey; daughters, Patricia L. Bailey and MaryAnn Bailey; grandchildren, Catherine S. Bailey Thomas, William R. Bailey, Charity D. Bailey, Kenneth D. Bailey, Sr., Benjamin S. Bailey, Elizabeth Ostler, Susan Coxe; great grandchildren, Michael J. Kay, Zachery Kay, Stewart Ostler, Katrinna Ostler, Ashley Coxe, Alandrea Coxe, Cara R. Bailey and Kenneth D. Bailey, Jr.; sister, Lois Hensley.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
The family will also receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service with Rev. Rick Ohsiek officiating. The interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Greenback.
In lieu of flowers, Louise (and her late husband Kenneth) have ask for donations to be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502-1204.
