He was a native and lifelong resident of Basin community. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding Corp., as a rigger, and was a former member of the C.C.C. of Lucedale. He was also a member and treasurer of the Men's Chorus at Mt. Pleasant Church. He died May 24 at George County Hospital after an extended illness.
Survivors include one sister; uncles; aunts; nieces; nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Jackie Holmes, pastor. Interment will be held at Mt. Pleasant UMC Cemetery, with Cook-Galloway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
