Mrs. Loren H. (Hazel) Edens, 64, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, February 8 at the Norton Infirmary, Louisville, following an illness. Mrs. Edens was the former Hazel Fay Welch, a native of Jonesville, Virginia. She was a Certified Medical Technician at Cedar Lake Lodge, LaGrange and a member of the LaGrange Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Loren H. Edens, LaGrange; three daughters: Mrs. Joe (Delores) Shuck, Pendleton, Mrs. Buddy (Judy) Head, LaGrange and Mrs. James (Fran) Curtis, LaGrange; two sons: Don B. Edens, Bedford and Bill Edens, Louisville; three sisters: Mrs. Ida Robinson, LaFollette, Tennessee, Mrs. Jerusha Clark, Tazwell, Tennessee and Mrs. Mary McCurry, Bladensburg, Maryland; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11th at the Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange. Louis C. Schuler, pastor of the LaGrange Church of Christ, officiated. Interment was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.
