LENOX DALE, BERKSHIRE Co., MA - Mrs. Agnes Hazel (Curtin) Girardey, ( 81y ) d: October 28, 1991 - of 28 Crystal St., Lenox Dale, the co-owner of Lenox Oil Co., died Monday in a Pittsfield nursing home. She worked several years ago at the former Eaton Paper Co. in Pittsfield, and later owned and operated Lenox Oil Co. with her husband, the late Edward J. Girardey. He died in 1963. She retired in 1974. Born and schooled in this town, she was a 1926 graduate of Lenox High School. She was also a graduate of the former Berkshire Business College in Pittsfield. She moved to Lenox Dale in 1951, and was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church. She leaves two sisters, Margaret Rose Hunter of Lee and Rosemary Nichols of Pittsfield. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery - Lenox, MA. jar END:
