Mrs. Johanna Naser, 89, (photo) of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc County, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ahrens, with whom she had resided since 1928.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, the Rev. B.A. Zimdars, paster of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Mishicot, officiating. Burial will be in Pioneers' Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Naser, nee Johanna Rathe, was born Nov. 10, 1888, in the Town of Two Creeks, daughter of the late Christian and Johanna Bredesen Rathe. Spending her early life in Two Creeks, she was married in 1890 to John Naser. The couple settled on a farm in the Town of Two Rivers now operated by the Ahrenses. Mr. Naser died in 1925. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society and the Women's Society of World Service of the Mishicot church.
Surviving Mrs. Naser are another daughter, Mrs. Roy Ihlenfeldt, of Madison, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of service.
