Jacob married Sali Galanti about 1953.

He is survived by former wife Sali August, two daughters and sons-in-law in Seattle, and daughter/son-in-law of Brandon, Florida; eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his companion Jeanine Jefferson and many nieces and nephews whom he loved and who loved their Uncle Joey.
Joe served with the second Armored Division during the occupation of Germany from 1950-1953. He was known for his sense of humor and warmth.
Funeral services held Friday, April 12, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the Bikur Cholim Cemetery, Seattle, Wa. Arrangements by the Seattle Jewish Chapel.
