Marie Susie Jackson,62, died peacefully Oct. 5, 2006, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Oct. 29, 1943, in St. Francis, the daughter of Alphonse and Florine (Jandreau) Harvey.

Susie looked forward to going to church and enjoyed singing. Her favorite pastimes were knitting and cooking for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Albert Jackson of St. Francis, five children and three grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sons, Chad in 1968 and Kenny in 1997; her brother Merrill Harvey; one sister, Gin Morin.

Friends may call 6-10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday up until time of departure for St. Francis, at Daigle & Nadeau funeral Home, Fort Kent.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis. Committal services will be held immediately after at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743 or to Hospice of Aroostook, P.O. Box 688, Caribou, ME 04736.
