Inez was a member of Sunny Home Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was a lifetime partner in the ministry of Reverend David Alexander as well as homemaker and baby sitter. She was involved in the Pebble Community Center and loved gardening and canning.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 6-9pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Sunny Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Reverend David E. Alexander; infant daughter, Brenda Elaine Alexander; parents, Luther and Grace Nicholson; brothers, Vernon and Lowell Nicholson; sisters, Idell Rogers and Juanita Tidwell.

Living siblings: Alton (Lois) Nicholson, Earl (Betty) Nicholson, Clinton (Gertie) Nicholson, Jerry (Carol Sue) Nicholson, and Terry (Linda) Nicholson; sisters, Dorothy Sewell, Margret Crane, and Sue (Alton) Poore;
