John Larry Johanson passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Temple, Texas at the age of 67. He was born July 30, 1948 in San Saba, Texas to Selma (Campbell) and Wayne Johanson.
John was in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Vietnam, Germany and Fort Hood. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Llano as well as a member of the VFW American Legion in Llano and Kingsland.
John is survived by his mother Selma Campbell Johanson, brother Kenneth Johanson and wife Penny, and sister Jeanette Benner and husband Jerry.
John is preceded in death by his father Wayne Johanson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
