Claude, Senior, was the husband of Helen Elizabeth
Wilkes-Kenion, of West Chester, Chester,
Pennsylvania.

He was born to Odie William Kenion,
Senior, and Willie Mae
Harris-Kenion
(1884-1926) in Rougemont, Durham,
North Carolina.


Claude K. Kenion, Sr., of 226 N. Franklin St., West Chester, died of a heart attack while at work at the Sinclair Refinery, Trainer, early yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Kenion made his home in West Chester for the past 30 years. He had been employed at the refinery for 19 years, as a Still Cleaner.

He served with the U.S. Army as a technician, third grade during World War II.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Claudie K. Kenion, Jr., and two daughters, Patricia J. and Sandra Kenion, all at home; nine brothers, Clem N. Kenion, Kennett Square; Eddie B. Kenion, North Carolina; Davis Kenion, Danville, Va.; Odie W. and Stroud Kenion, both of West Chester; John W. and Calvin C"., both of Wayne; Milo Kenion, Downingtown; one sister, Mrs. Annie K. Dave, West Chester, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Day Memorial Chapels, 115-117 W. Chestnut St., West Chester, on Thursday, August 3, at 2 p.m. Interment Rolling Green Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday evening 7 to 9 at the chapels.
