Funeral services are to be Thursday at 2 p.m. for Ralph Archer, 68. of 1460 East Main Street, who died Monday at 9:40 p.m. in Lancaster Fairfield Coiunty Hospital.
Rev. Frank E. Noel Sr. is to officiate at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Mr. Archer was an employee of the hospital, a member of Church of the Nazarene and had operatd a filling station in Lancaster, Ohio from 1939 to 1961.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph Vernon Archer, of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jonathan Lynn Archer of Lancaster, Ohio; sister, Mrs. Weaver Lockhart of Charleston, West Virginia; and two step-sons, Joseph Conrad of Lancaster, Ohio and Ralph Conrad, serving in the marines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Sarah (Lockhart) Archer.
