Married, at the Catholic church in Emporia, on Monday, January 18, 1892, by the pastor thereof, Mr. A. Bandelin, of Strong City, and Miss Mary Crakem, of Emporia; and, on Monday night, they were given and infair at the residence of Mr. John Whalan, in Strong City. The Courant extends to Mr. and Mrs. Bandelin its most hearty congratulations, wishing them a long, prosperous, happy journey down the path of time, and a blissful entrance into eternity.

A. Bandelin, of this city, and Miss Mary Craigin, of Emporia, were united in the bonds of wedlock, Tuesday, January 19th, at Emporia. That afternoon they came to their home in this city on South Cottonwood avenue. Mrs. Bandelin is one of our prominent and popular citizens and he and his bride receive the heartiest congratulations and good wishes of a large circle of friends.

There was a quiet wedding at the Catholic church yesterday afternoon, the contracting parties being Albert Bandelin, of Strong City, and Miss Kragen, of this city. Rev. Father Leonard performed the ceremony of the church. Miss Mamie Kelly acted as bridesmaid and James Lawless was groomsman. The ceremony concluded, Mr. and Mrs. Bandelin took the train for their future home in Strong City, where the groom is fortunate in possessing much of this world's goods. The friends of the happy couple join The Republican in congratulations and best wishes.

A. Bandelin has leased the Bank Hotel at this place and took possession Monday. He also purchased the hotel furniture. Mr. Bandelin has been engaged in the Mercantile business at Strong City for a number of years and is highly esteemed. He will, undoubtedly, keep the Bank Hotel up to its former good reputation. Mrs. S. F. Jones, the retiring landlady, made a success of the hotel and it was with regret that her many patrons learned that she had concluded to retire from the business. During her management the house did a good business and was popular with its patrons. Mr. and Mrs. Jones have moved into their residence property on South Cottonwood Ave. A handsome veranda is being built on to the front part of the building.

A. Bandelin has rented ground near Excelsior Springs, Mo., and will engage in the gardening business at that point this summer. Mr. Bandelin accompanied by Rhinehart Franz will start across country for the Springs as soon as the weather will permit.

A. Bandelin Dead.

A. Bandelin died at his home in Strong, Saturday evening at 8:45 of Bright's disease. The funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon by Rev. Withington, and interment was at the cemetery west of this city.

Albert Bandelin was born in Germany fifty-five years ago. He had lived in Strong for several years, being engaged in various lines of business until ill health compelled him to quit. This spring he went to Excelsior Springs, Mo., thinking the springs there would benefit him, but it proved different and he became so weak that he was brought home last week.

He married Miss Malinda Clay about six years ago and she is left to mourn the loss of a kind husband, and the city an honest, noble citizen.
