Helen Elizabeth Yelton, 94, of Johnson City, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native of Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late William M. and Mary K. Hagel Brady.
Helen was a dietician who had worked in nursing homes.
She was a longtime member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Yelton in 1998; a sister, Florence Brady; two brothers, William Brady and Bernard Brady.
A sister, Ann Hilliard of Baltimore, MD and several cousins survive her.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Morris – Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the First Free Will Baptist Church at 11:00 am under the direction of Rev. Tony Trott. A committal service will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
