March 20, 1907: Died on March 12, 1907 at the home of his son in Anniston, Martin Coker, aged 74 years. The deceased was visiting Anniston and died unexpectedly while sitting in a chair. He resided in Beaver Valley, St. Clair County, and for many years was a member of the M.E. Church South. His remains were interred at Evergreen. Rev. M.M. Blaese conducting the service.
