Gladys E. Adams, age 91 of Penns Grove, NJ died Saturday, November 10, 2001 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, DE.
Born in the Swedesboro area, she was the daughter of Anna M. Thompson and stepdaughter of Harry W. Thompson. She was a graduate of Penns Grove High School, class of 1928. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church for over 60 years, where she was involved with the Primary Dept., during the 1930's and 1940's. She was also a member of The Circle of Friendship.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Harry R. Adams in 1996.
She is survived by her son, Harry R. Adams, Jr. of Pittsgrove; a daughter, Jane A. Fredricks of Salem and a granddaughter, Kathleen J. Adams of Salem.
Services are 11 am Thursday, November 15 in Union Presbyterian Church, 254 Shell Rd., Carney's Point, NJ, where friends may call 1 hour prior. Burial will be in Lawnside Cemetery, Pilesgrove Township.
