Final rates for Herbert Clark, 94, were held Monday afternoon from Nale's Funeral Home, with Rev. Homer Longbons of Olney officiating.

Mr. Clark died Friday morning at his home. He had been in failing health for several years.

Surviving are three sons, Clayton Clark of Albion, Claude of Houghton Lake, Michigan and Charles of Olney; two daughters, Mrs. Bert (Irene) Roby of Olney and Mrs. Isabell Chalcraft of Albion; 20 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Born June 17, 1876 in Edwards County, he was the son of Charles and Jane Willis Clark. He was married in January of 1899 to Ellen Colyer, who preceded him in death in 1964. A sister, Mrs. Fannie Gill, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Clark farmed for many years in the Little Prairie community west and north of Albion. He was a member of the Little Prairie Christian Church.

Interment was at Graceland.
