Dace Allison Maddox joined Mary, his loving wife of 56 years by the side of our Father in heaven, Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Dace was born Novemeber 22, 1935 to Zita and Rupert Maddox in Medford, Ore.

After graduating high school in Jacksonville, Ore., Dace enlisted in the Army Reserve at Fort Ord, Calif.

Dace met and married his loving wife Mary and began raising the first of eight children.

Dace worked for many years as a logger with Maddox Brother's Logging. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Dace is survived by his sons, Rupert, Joseph, Patrick, and Andrew; daughters, Regina, Mary, Laura, and Suzanna; brothers, Raymond, and Terry; sisters, Kareen, Zita, and Dianne; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.

We will miss his wonderful sense of humor, love for life, and his dedication to family and friends. Please join us for funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford, Ore.
