Lawrence's youngest son, Ronnie D Coelho's tribute to his father: My Poppa, he is one of a kind he has shown me how to work. He has shown me how to love. He has shown me how to play. He was Santa, Peter cotton tail for Easter and an amazing father. If you feared him he liked you, if you challenged him and spoke your mind he liked and respected you. This man had a golden heart, he would give to those who needed help, and whoever he helped out, had the UT most respect for him. One main thing I will say about my Daddy is that he gave all he got, and had big dreams, he accomplished those dreams, and even though I have different dreams, I am glad and happy to say that he has left his heart, determination, motivated qualities behind, and a whole lot more than that. I love you Daddy and may God grant you all the blessings that have been waiting for you in heaven.

Diana Junio offered: Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. We celebrated and said goodbye to my Grandpa, he was such a special part of my life and I am so glad my kids got a chance to know and love him too:) He taught me so many things and I am so thankful for all of the memories. I will miss him dearly but hold him in my heart forever. I love you Grandpa.

Nicole Eachus offering: Yesterday we celebrated my grandpa❤️ The man who taught our family how important it is to work hard, how to play hard, and how to love hard. We all had so much respect and pride for him. Our memories together and his life lessons will live on forever in our hearts.

Gavin Thompson, words from a grandson: My grandpa taught me so many lessons that have shaped me into the man I am and more importantly, the man I will ultimately become. Grandpa, you have blessed my life dearly and it will be hard not having you around... But you have taught me to persevere through everything God puts in my way. Thank you for everything ❤️ Rest in Paradise Grandpa. We love you.

Erica Brownen Carson emotion: My heart is full and my eyes seem to not run out of tears today... As some know, I was Lawrence Coelho's dialysis technician for some time and we had many long conversations about my kids and their love for chickens and of course, my son, and his involvement in 4h. Lawrence told me couple months ago after giving me shit constantly about our chicken/turkey venture being that he owns Central Valley meat and Coelho meat, basically he's a "beef guy" he said to me I'm going to buy that turkey.....I brushed it off and a couple months later his health took a turn for the worst and Lawrence passed away. We found a buyer for my sons turkey thankfully but today that person didn't get to buy it, Lawrence's son came down to the Kings fair and purchased my sons turkey for far more than it was worth in honor of his dad. As a care taker you are not suppose to love you are suppose to set those feelings aside however, I loved and my heart is full I'm thankful I'm blessed! ps I had no idea that Lawrence's son was even there and it was a complete surprise to me until I saw "Coelho meat" on the monitor. 💕
