While on the job on May 24, 2016 Micah was unexpectedly called home by his Heavenly Father. He was born May 17, 1991 in Green Bay, WI to Stephen and Annette Gifford. Micah graduated from Reedsville High School with the Class of 2009. He completed the Electrical Power Distribution program at NWTC in 2011. Micah was employed by Nelson Tree Service as a foreman at the time of his death. Micah loved hunting and farming especially with his grandpa, Orville Otto. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping, fishing and sports.Micah is survived by the loves of his life Jennifer Kesner who he was engaged to marry October 14, 2016 and their son Braden. He is further survived by his loving parents Stephen and Annette Gifford; one brother Andy; grandparents Joy Otto and Ronald Gifford, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends who will miss his smile and warm personality.He was preceded in death by his grandfather Orville Otto, his grandmother Norita Gifford, Uncle Adam Otto and cousin Joshua Magnin.Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, 7395 County Road W, Morrison, WI and from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Ott officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
