After a lingering illness over the past 18 years. Mrs. John Anderla, 61, died
at her home in the village of Mishicot at 5 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Specht Funeral Home,
Mishicot, and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church Mishicot, the Rev.
George F. Beth officiating Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.

Anderla Rites are Held at Mishicot
Mrs. John Anderla, 61, of Mishicot, died at her home at 5 pm Friday after an illness of about 18 years. Funeral services were held at 9 am Monday at the Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot and at 9:30 at Holy Cross Catholic Church there, the Rev. George F. Beth officiating. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
The former Barbara Schleis was born at Stangelville March 6, 1894, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Krines Schleis. She was married at St. Lawrence Church, Stangelville in 1915 to John Anderla. They resided in Mishicot where she has lived since. She was a member of the Altar Society of Holy Cross Church for many years.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Ione of Manitowoc; a son, Lester at home; six sisters, Mrs. Albert Brachmann and Mrs. Fred Cisler of Manitowoc, Mrs. Michael Jakus, Mrs. Frank Mercer and Mrs. Emily Van Loan of Milwaukee and Mrs. Ludwig Martin of Eau Claire, Mich.; three brothers, Dr. W.J. Schleis of Denmark, John Schleis of Stangelville and Matt Schleis of Tisch Mills; and three grandchildren.
