Ben Assman, 68, of Rt. 1, Mishicot, died late Saturday evening November 19, 1977
in Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lambert Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m.
in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Earl Brouchoud will officiate and
burial will be in the parish cemetery
Mr. Assman was born January 4, 1909, in Athens, Wis., son of the late William Assman
and Anna Assman. He was a farmer and also employed with Eggers Plywood Co., Two Rivers.
He married Sophie Firkowsik in 1968. Survivors include his wife, Sophie, his mother,
Mrs. Anna Assman of Rt. 1, Mishicot; a brother, Alvin of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs.
William (Louise) Stone of Two Rivers and nieces and nephews. His former wives, Hattie
Patek Assman and Helen Karbowski Assman and a brother Ira, preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Lambert Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday, where a memorial service
will be at 7:30 p.m.
