Stella N. Addison Of Bear, DE, died of heart failure, at the home of her daughter, Linda S. Buchanan, Thursday September 9, 1999. She was 72. Mrs. Addison was born July 31, 1927 near Red Ash, Virginia, the daughter of the late Ellis L. and Vicie VanDyke Clifton. Mrs. Addison worked as a mail sorter for National Presort in New Castle, DE for several years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. Her husband, Winford F. Addison, died in 1991. In addition to her daughter Linda, she is survived by 1 son, Carl Addison of Smyrna, DE, her daughter Angela Addison-Foley of Jacksonville, FL, 2 brothers, Bruce Clifton of Newark, DE, Ellis Clifton of Tazewell, VA, Hettie Kraszewski of Bear, DE, Donna McClure of Wilmington, DE, Mona Biddle of New Castle, DE, Myrtle McGee and Edna Horne both of Tazewell, VA. 3 granddaughters, Susan Alexander of Washington, D.C. Vicie Turner of Earlville, MD, Shannon Foley of Jacksonville, FL, 1 grandson, Timothy Foley of Jacksonville, FL, 1 great-grandson, George Alexander III of Washington, D.C.

Services will be Monday September 13, 1999 at 1pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main St., Smyrna, DE, where friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9pm. Burial will be in Old Drawyers Cemetery, Odessa, DE. Arrangements are by FARIES FUNERAL
