Mary Ramshart. Committed by Rich'd Rising Judge 1st Judicial District Story County, State of Nevada December 10th 1866. Age 33 years; native of Ireland; married and has four children, the youngest about 3 years old; no occupation; evidence of insanity is from frequent interviews by her medical attendant. She is neither homicidal, suicidal nor incendiary. This attack first appeared 6 or 7 months ago - other attacks have been reported; disease stationary with no entirely rational intervals; has hallucinations in relation to her husband. She is in danger of self destruction; is not disposed to injure others; is filthy and destructive, decidedly; has been temperate; has not suffered from disease or injury; no change in health since the attack; cause unknown; class, intellectually insane; no treatment. Admitted December 14th 1866. Storey County Nevada pays. Died January 10th 1867. Note in left margin: Delivered of a Female child Dec. 16th 1866. Child sent to the Roman Catholic Orphan Asylum Feby 14th 1867, San Francisco.
