ROSE E. BEYER (d. 1951)

Mrs. Rose Beyer, 83, widow of Ira Beyer, prominent Mishicot farmer and banker,
died Wednesday at the home of her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Heyroth, of Green Bay with whom she had made her home the past five and a half
years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Specht funeral home,
Mishicot. The Rev. B.A. Zimders will officiate and burial will be in the
Mishicot cemetery.
She was born Rose Nocker in the town of Mishicot in 1867 and in 1887 was married
to Mr. Beyer. They located on the homestead farm. Mr. Beyer was the first
president of the Mishicot State bank and also served as town chairman for a number
of years. He died in 1927.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Heyroth of Green Bay and Mrs. Ralph Weber of
Two Creeks; a sister, Mrs. Mary Quistorf of Mishicot; 11 grandchildren and five
great grandchildren. A son, Hans, died in October.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
