Mrs. J. T. Scott Has Crossed Over the River
Yesterday the Clarion-Ledger announced the death of Mr. Lee Jones’ wife – today the wife of his business partner, Mr. J. T. Scott, is also a corpse.

Mrs. Scott has been an invalid some time, a victim of that great destroyer, consumption, and breathed her last this morning at the home of her husband, on Gallatin street. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock.
