BODWIN RITES HELD Thursday
Worked on boats for Years; Died Last Monday
Funeral services for Arthur Bodwin, 50, who died Monday evening in a Chicago
hospital two days after an operation, will be held Thursday morning at 9
o'clock from the Sacred Heart church. Burial will be made at the Catholic
cemetery in Mishicot.
Mr. Bodwin, who was employed on boats on Lake Michigan for a number of years,
left Manitowoc last June for Chicago, where he secured work on a lake boat. He
left the vessel at Cleveland and started for Manitowoc when he was taken ill
last week. He stopped off at Chicago and stayed at the home of a niece, Mrs.
Irene Rosanko, before going to the hosptial.
Mr. Bodwin was born Sept. 8, 1885(sic) in the town of Gibson. He married Miss
Mary Grimm in September, 1912.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Grace, Leona and Elinor; four sons,
Ralph, Everett, Leonard and Donald; three brothers, Richard and Walter of
Manitowoc and Peter of West Allis; and two sisters, Mrs. James Cahill, Manitowoc,
and Mrs. Henry Hobbins, Milwaukee.
The body may be viewed at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home until the
time of the services.

Marriage of Arthur Bodwin & Mary Grimm
Mishicot:
Miss Mary Grimm of Two Creeks and Mr. Arthur Bodwin of Mishicot were united in marriage at the Catholic Church at Two Rivers Tuesday. Mr. Bodwin is a well known Mishicot man and has been employed at the Schroeder farm at Two Creeks.
