Robert L. “Bobby” Collins, age 92, son of Clifford and Sarah Sellers Collins was born, February 2, 1924 in Jacksonville, Florida passed away May 24, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospice Center for Caring Jacksonville, Florida.
He was a retired tug boat captain for Moran Towing Corp., a member of American Legion Post 283, a Free Mason in the Scottish Rite – Morocco Shiners Arlington Lodge #309.
Robert proudly served as a firefighter in the United States Marine Corp in WWII 1941 to 1947. He enjoyed reading, fishing, shrimping, growing any fruit or vegetable that could be eaten. He loved nature, any and all animals, and first, foremost and always, his beloved family
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Minnie Lee Collins
