My Great Grandfather, Henry Edwin Wood, was a blacksmith and a farmer. He married Mary A.A. Poe on Christmas Day 1892. He died as a result of a train accident Dec. 23, 1896, 2 days shy of their 4th anniversary. He left behind three young daughters, Myrtle Wood Pearce, age 3, Mildred Henrietta Wood Culp, age 1, and my grandmother, Dolores Marie Wood Culp, 2 months.

Banks Wood Cemetery. Unfortunately some confuse it with the cemetery near Ebenezer Baptist Church in Webberville. Banks Wood Cemetery is on private property outside of Webberville.
